Principal Presales Solution Architect – Aruba High Touch Services. This is a senior presales role responsible for supporting Aruba sales teams in driving professional services growth through both SKU-based services attach and custom services solutioning, aligned to the Aruba networking portfolio including campus switching, wireless, SD-WAN, network management, and security. The role plays a critical function in ensuring the correct positioning, selection, and commercial structuring of Aruba services to support successful customer outcomes and accelerate services adoption.
Job Responsibility:
Work closely with Aruba sales teams to drive services attach to product opportunities, ensuring High Touch Services are positioned as a standard component of the overall solution
Provide guidance to sales teams on the selection of the appropriate services SKUs, ensuring alignment to customer requirements, deployment scope, and desired outcomes
Actively support pipeline development by identifying services opportunities and increasing services attach rates across Aruba deals
Educate and enable sales teams on Aruba services portfolio offerings, packaging, pricing structures, and current promotions, ensuring they are confident in positioning services to customers
Support the development of services proposals based on standard SKU-based offerings, including scope clarification and effort validation
Develop custom Statements of Work for more complex or non-standard engagements, including scope definition, deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, and project activities
Build Work Breakdown Structures, effort estimates, and associated cost models for custom services engagements
Contribute to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring services components are accurate and competitive
Prepare services proposals and supporting documentation for customer opportunities
Position Aruba High Touch Services to support successful implementation, optimisation, and ongoing adoption of Aruba technologies
Work closely with delivery teams to ensure proposed services are aligned with delivery capability and standards
Maintain strong working relationships with Aruba sales, presales, and services delivery teams to support consistent services growth
Requirements:
Typically requires 12-15 years of related experience
Bachelors or MS degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering
Proven experience in a Presales Solution Architect, services solutioning, or consulting role, preferably at a senior or principal level
Demonstrated experience supporting professional services sales, including SKU-based services and custom Statements of Work
