Job Responsibility:
Act as an integrator for the cabinet design of Global business aircraft cabins during all engineering phases, from launch to delivery
Be responsible for integrating cabin interior furniture and linings into the cabin
Take on assignments of varying complexity requiring interaction with multiple areas of expertise (client team, interior design, program, occupant safety, flammability, stress, methods, logistics, etc.)
Collaborate on design reviews, ensuring proper integration of requirements and compliance with certification rules
Work with partners and suppliers during the detailed design phases of projects
Integrate change requests of various kinds
coordinate technical meetings, analyze and define solutions, and ensure their successful implementation
Estimate project effort levels, submit status reports, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans
Be responsible for the timely delivery of quality technical documentation that meets Bombardier standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or college diploma in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or equivalent
10 or more years of relevant experience
Good communication skills in English and French
Well organized with excellent project management skills
Experience in business aircraft interior completions
Familiarity with the Global aircraft family and interiors integration
Experience working with ENOVIA/VPM Nav and Catia V5
Understanding of product structures and aircraft certification
Ability to understand complex engineering problems and demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving
Motivated individual, team player, able to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Excellent track record of successfully meeting commitments
