Job Responsibility:
Prepare flammability certification test plans, test reports and test sheets for relevant aircraft programs
Analyse physical flammability coupon performance and provide resolution strategies when performance does not meet requirements
Communicate with multiple engineering, design and operations departments to coordinate material flow, design specifications, change requests and product recommendations
Receive, read and approve design compliance reports for various sub-systems against appropriate flammability certification chapters
Interact regularly with immediate colleagues via Microsoft collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook)
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical diploma in aerospace
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in flammability certification, especially in a business aircraft environment (asset)
Facility understanding mechanical drawings, specifications and regulations
Analytical mind
Ability to assimilate new processes and work methodologies quickly
Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment that requires a high degree of discipline
Nice to have:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in flammability certification, especially in a business aircraft environment
