Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare flammability certification test plans, test reports and test sheets for relevant aircraft programs
  • Analyse physical flammability coupon performance and provide resolution strategies when performance does not meet requirements
  • Communicate with multiple engineering, design and operations departments to coordinate material flow, design specifications, change requests and product recommendations
  • Receive, read and approve design compliance reports for various sub-systems against appropriate flammability certification chapters
  • Interact regularly with immediate colleagues via Microsoft collaboration tools (Teams, Outlook)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical diploma in aerospace
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in flammability certification, especially in a business aircraft environment (asset)
  • Facility understanding mechanical drawings, specifications and regulations
  • Analytical mind
  • Ability to assimilate new processes and work methodologies quickly
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment that requires a high degree of discipline

Nice to have:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in flammability certification, especially in a business aircraft environment
