Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams, as well as suppliers, throughout the various stages of the product development process
Be involved in cabin research and development activities and participate in the evaluation of materials under development
Bridging mechanical, electrical and computer science skills to develop new features, such as window shades, table mechanisms, pocket doors, AI-based features evaluations and other innovative features concepts and prototypes
Define and design the configuration of cabin systems
Improve prototype concepts through the process of iteration, testing, and design review
Conduct studies, analyses, and calculations to guide designers, technicians and project managers in their work using general and specific technical parameters
Work on the development, design, and testing of various mechanical/electrical systems
Requirements:
A university degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
More than 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the field of business aircraft interior finishing and systems
Experience in the design and/or integration of mechanical-electrical systems
Understanding of the fundamentals of a product's engineering structure as well as certification rules
Highly motivated to take on challenges and determined to achieve results
Strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a good problem-solving approach
Creative approach that aligns with Bombardier's design and innovation philosophy
Comfortable working with minimal supervision, enjoy teamwork, and have good project organization skills
Excellent collaborator and team player
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Catia and NX design software
Bilingual in French and English
