The Professional Liaison Consultant for Scotland role will sit within our Professionalism and Upstream Regulation department. Through increased engagement that educates, influences and empowers employers, registrants and other stakeholders, we aim to support the creation of working environments and practices that enable our registrants to embed and achieve high professional standards.
Job Responsibility:
Be an ambassador of the HCPC
Represent the HCPC at a range of external events
Deliver key messages and learning for our stakeholders
Design and deliver a range of learning events and materials that will educate, influence and empower different stakeholders
Promote professionalism and help to embed Standards and prevent harm
Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across Scotland
Deliver face-to-face and online events across the UK
Requirements:
Confident individual
Strong stakeholder engagement experience
Passionate about public protection
Sound knowledge of healthcare regulation
Willing to frequently travel to locations across the UK
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
Able to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Knowledge of healthcare regulation to educate and influence stakeholders
Flexible, creative approach to the development and delivery of events
Ability to create sessions which are topical and engaging through the use of well informed data and research
Competent in using a variety of learning and presentation tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to adapt and problem solve where necessary
Ability to plan and organise effectively
Appropriate right to work in the UK
What we offer:
Car allowance of £1,800 per annum is payable monthly for those who use their car extensively for HCPC business
