Job Description:

This role provides an opportunity to be at the heart of our increasing focus on promoting professionalism and preventing and reducing harm. The Professional Liaison Consultant for Scotland role will sit within our Professionalism and Upstream Regulation department. Through increased engagement that educates, influences and empowers employers, registrants and other stakeholders, we aim to support the creation of working environments and practices that enable our registrants to embed and achieve high professional standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be an ambassador of the HCPC
  • Represent the HCPC at a range of external events
  • Deliver key messages and learning for our stakeholders
  • Design and deliver a range of learning events and materials that will educate, influence and empower different stakeholders
  • Promote professionalism and help to embed Standards and prevent harm
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across Scotland
  • Deliver face-to-face and online events across the UK

Requirements:

  • Passionate about public protection
  • Sound knowledge of healthcare regulation
  • Willing to frequently travel to locations across the UK
