Woman's New Life Clinic invites applications for a part-time professional counseling position in our Baton Rouge office. Applicant must be willing to work within a multidisciplinary team environment, and job responsibilities must be executed in support of the organization’s mission and vision and its Christian core beliefs and core operational values.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing crisis counseling, assessment, counseling and intervention services specific to women and couples experiencing crisis pregnancy, post-traumatic stress, grief and/or depression following an abortion or pregnancy loss, adoption questions, fertility concerns, and other related behavioral and emotional issues
  • Working within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Executing job responsibilities in support of the organization’s mission and vision and its Christian core beliefs and core operational values

Requirements

Master's degree in a mental health related field (psychology, social work, counseling, rehabilitation counseling) with at least one year experience

Nice to have

  • Bilingual (able to read, write and speak Spanish proficiently)
  • Licensure in counseling field with two or more years of clinical experience working with women

  • Improve access to high-quality care for individuals across the life span
  • Promote integration of behavioral health, drug and alcohol, and physical health care services using Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) in service provision
  • Provide individual, group, family, and IOP counseling
  • Build and enhance the relationship with program staff and outside providers to coordinate care
  • Complete all clinical documentation required, intake assessments for open access service
  • Obtain previous records that are relevant to the current treatment episode
