Job Description

As an Intermediate Business Analyst, your primary mission will be to support the post-implementation phase of a brand-new Intraday Liquidity Management solution. While the technology itself has been deployed, the business now requires an expert to map, document, and standardize the resulting workflows. You will collaborate closely with Finance and Treasury Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), the internal technology team, and external vendors to create a comprehensive suite of reference materials. This documentation will serve as the foundational BAU playbook for the business team moving forward.

Job Responsibility

  • Process Mapping & Workflow Creation: Design highly detailed, visual process maps and workflows using tools like MS Visio or PowerPoint to illustrate the new liquidity management system's operations
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Author, structure, and refine comprehensive procedure documents in strict alignment with enterprise standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively engage in daily discussions with Treasury SMEs, technical teams, and the vendor to extract, synthesize, and validate complex workflow information
  • Knowledge Translation: Translate highly technical software functionalities into digestible, user-friendly business reference materials

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of experience working as a Business Analyst within a Canadian bank or similarly sized financial institution
  • Proven track record of creating sophisticated workflows (Visio/PowerPoint) and writing structured enterprise-level procedure documents
  • Previous experience or strong working familiarity with Treasury, Finance, or Liquidity Risk Management functions, including a solid grasp of related financial terminologies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and formatting
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice to have

Previous experience navigating or supporting organizational Change Management processes

What we offer

  • Top-Tier Banking Experience: Gain valuable exposure with a Top 5 Canadian bank, enhancing your enterprise-level portfolio
  • High-Impact Project: Take ownership of a critical documentation stream for a major Intraday Liquidity Management initiative
  • Collaborative Culture: Work within a highly skilled, supportive team of 10–15 professionals, including dedicated Finance/Treasury SMEs
