Job Description

The Business Analyst acts as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements. The role aims to drive data-informed decision-making, optimize business processes.

Job Responsibility

  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements
  • Work closely with stakeholders
  • Produce clear and structured functional documentation (e.g., business requirements, functional specifications, user stories)
  • Maintain and manage requirements using Jira and Confluence, ensuring traceability and clarity
  • Support agile delivery teams by refining backlog items, clarifying scope, and supporting sprint planning
  • Contribute to data-driven decision-making using reporting and analytics tools
  • Contribution to improvements in operational efficiency, customer experience, or time-to-market
  • Quality, accuracy, and completeness of business and functional requirements
  • Reduction in rework or clarification requests due to unclear requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative approach
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira
  • Practical knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Ability to understand and use Jira, Excel, Power BI or Looker for reporting, analysis, and performance tracking
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst
  • Telco experience or similar
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese
