Job Description:

General production workers at Canada Packer’s Lethbridge facility take on a variety of roles and responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials throughout plant
  • Bagging and/or packaging of meat products
  • Operate processing machinery and equipment as needed
  • Inspect products to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following sanitation and food safety regulations
  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Work efficiently to meet daily production quotas and deadlines
  • Assist with loading/unloading raw materials and finished products
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or product defects to supervisors
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
