Job Responsibility
Working safely and efficiently in accordance with all safety policies and procedures
Performing repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time, including standing for long hours, walking, climbing stairs, bending, shoveling chips, sweeping, running hoses, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting operational issues
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborating effectively with team members to meet production goals
Supporting daily production activities while following a shift work rotating schedule
Requirements
A minimum of two (2) years of industrial work experience and/or equivalent training (e.g., OFA3, grading ticket, or similar)
Availability to work shiftwork in a continuous operations environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
A positive attitude with a self-starter mindset
Ability to work in an industrial environment and perform physically demanding tasks (including standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs)
A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
Nice to have
3rd or 4th Class Power Engineering certification
Pulp and paper technical courses
Experience working with or around machinery and equipment
