Our team is actively seeking a motivated production general laborer to fill multiple temporary and permanent positions with one of our premier clients, a leader in electronics recycling and waste management. As a production general laborer, you will play a crucial role in daily warehouse and production operations. This production general laborer position within our manufacturing & logistics division offers a steady schedule in a unionized environment focused on health, safety, and teamwork. This production general laborer role features stable schedules from Monday to Friday, with shifts available for either day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) or evening shift (3:30 PM to 12:00 AM). Job Responsibility

  • Set up at the assigned workstation and perform the required duties according to manufacturing & logistics standards
  • Cut wires, remove electronic components, and meticulously sort different materials
  • Manually lift, move, and transport various objects and containers across the production floor
  • Saw objects and precisely handle a variety of hand and power tools
  • Separate components for each electronic device and ensure efficient sorting of materials
  • Maintain an appropriate production pace while ensuring the workstation remains clean and safe
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals in manufacturing & logistics
  • Strictly follow all established occupational health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift loads weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand in a static position for extended periods of time
  • No physical constraints or restrictions preventing the execution of regular daily tasks
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Functional understanding of spoken English and/or French to ensure smooth and safe communication
  • Full availability for one of the two proposed shifts from Monday to Friday
