Production Worker/Labourer

• Operate and assist with saws, chippers, forklifts, and other equipment
• Stack lumber manually or with mechanical assistance
• Grade wood products by inspecting defects such as knots, splits, and warping
• Apply grade stamps and labels to finished products
• Operate forklifts to load and unload product
• move materials between workstations
• Support machine setup and changeovers
• Use power tools to shape and manipulate wood components
• Perform general labour duties, including housekeeping and general cleanup
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and meet production targets

• Ability to perform repetitive, manual tasks for extended periods of time including piling lumber, standing for long hours, walking, shoveling, climbing stairs, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
• High degree of urgency and attention to detail

Experience with and/or around machinery and equipment is an asset but not mandatory
