Job Description

Dexter has an opportunity for a Production Welder at our manufacturing facility located in Elkhart, Indiana. This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for performing various welding activities using established production procedures. Primary responsibilities of the position requires experienced Mig-Welder and/or Robotic Welder to perform welding processes in a fast paced work environment, while working safely and ensuring quality.

Job Responsibility

  • Lifting spindles into welder as well as cambers from welder to engraver, conveyer, and racks
  • Lifting tubes into punch press and then into welder
  • Operating welders
  • Performing machine changeovers
  • Performing quality checks
