Job Responsibility

  • Execute high-quality welds on metal racks using MIG welding processes within a high-volume manufacturing & logistics environment
  • Read and interpret basic welding blueprints and technical specifications to ensure structural integrity
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to uphold the highest safety standards in the manufacturing & logistics facility
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and quality benchmarks
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance on welding machinery
  • Inspect finished products for defects or misalignments to ensure customer satisfaction in the manufacturing & logistics chain
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline manufacturing & logistics workflows

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a welder in a manufacturing & logistics environment is preferred
  • Graduates from recognized welding programs or trade schools are highly encouraged to apply
  • Successful completion of an on-site weld test is mandatory
  • Reliable transportation to the Brantford, Ontario location
  • Flexibility to work straight day or afternoon shifts as required by the manufacturing & logistics schedule
  • Commitment to workplace safety and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
  • Physical stamina to handle a busy production floor
