To train as a machine operator starting on days with prospects to moving onto a 5-crew shift. You will receive a structured programme and a dedicated mentor with training in our Forming Department. You will also gain awareness in other areas, including Production Engineering, Mould Repair and with the Feeder Team.
Job Responsibility:
Establish an effective communication flow between forming and inspection, verbally and via internal systems to resolve problems quickly and effectively
Monitor performance and report any issues to supervision in a timely manner
Identify mechanical malfunctions and rectify where possible
Filling in on shifts where required to maintain optimal performance
Requirements:
Good Communication and teamwork skills
Be organised, proactive and self-motivated
Have a high attention to detail and observation skills
Have a commitment to continuous improvement
Analytical and logical in approach
Fault finding and problem-solving skills
Lean tools knowledge desirable
