Job Description:

To train as a machine operator starting on days with prospects to moving onto a 5-crew shift. You will receive a structured programme and a dedicated mentor with training in our Forming Department. You will also gain awareness in other areas, including Production Engineering, Mould Repair and with the Feeder Team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish an effective communication flow between forming and inspection, verbally and via internal systems to resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Monitor performance and report any issues to supervision in a timely manner
  • Identify mechanical malfunctions and rectify where possible
  • Filling in on shifts where required to maintain optimal performance

Requirements:

  • Good Communication and teamwork skills
  • Be organised, proactive and self-motivated
  • Have a high attention to detail and observation skills
  • Have a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Analytical and logical in approach
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills
  • Lean tools knowledge desirable
