Job Description:

Alleima, located in Clarks Summit, PA seeking a Production Technician. Alleima, a leading producer of seamless stainless tube products in Clarks Summit, PA, is seeking a Production Technician for its hot flow manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform various manufacturing, quality control, and logistics tasks including operating saws, overhead cranes and inspection tools
  • Perform product quality inspections using various inspection tools
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management

Requirements:

  • You possess a minimum of a high school diploma/GED and a strong mechanical aptitude
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • inspection experience would be a plus
  • Candidates should also possess basic math/data entry skills
  • be a strong team player with the ability to perform well in a total quality, team-based environment
  • You are reliable, strongly focused on quality, and show a high level of initiative

  • Reconcile headcount needed on a per shift basis based on schedule production demands
  • Perform scheduled quality checks, disposition product, identify any deviations that may occur and take the appropriate action to include stopping production on the machine if necessary
  • Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards are being met
  • Execute Batch/Code changes, tank changes, as well as sub lots as required
  • Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system
  • Investigate, identify and correct or escalate any inefficiency in the machine’s performance including mechanical wear, alignment, adjustment, and setup issues
  • Develop standard work for troubleshooting and setups/changeovers
