Different shift assignments allow for flexibility and safety. In this role you are responsible for performance of tasks related to drug formulation, weighing raw materials, cleaning, mixing sophisticated tanks and equipment, distilled water sanitization, filter integrity testing, and documentation. Working in a cleanroom is essential to delivering life-saving therapies.
Job Responsibility:
Supply, operate, and maintain various equipment in the Filling and Pump Room area
Setup and make adjustments as necessary to Filling Equipment
Load and replenish production supplies
Perform cleaning and setup of filters
Perform and document filter integrity testing
Perform minor routine and preventative maintenance
Identify facility repairs, conduct minor repairs or generate workorders
Ensure area is set-up per appropriate SOP, code sheet, and BOM
Execute Batch/Code changes and sublots
Execute tank changes and filter changes
Document required information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system
Investigate, identify and correct or escalate inefficiency in Solution Transmission System's performance
Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities
Notify supervisor and take appropriate action if safety, quality, mechanical or discrepancy issues occur
Learn and apply quality standards, SOPs and cGMP
Perform all required documentation
Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
Support Safety, 6S, GMP, and TPM efforts
Train new PTIs on processes and tasks
Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
Must be able to perform basic mathematics
Proficient in how to use a calculator and measurement tools as well as basic hand tools
Must have basic computer skills
Nice to have:
Production Technician, Prep Material Handler, or manufacturing experience with duties including preventative maintenance, machine troubleshooting, etc.
