The Production Technician performs manufacturing and assembly tasks that support the production of instruments, consumables, and packaged products. This role follows detailed work instructions and quality procedures to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards.
Job Responsibility:
Perform manufacturing and assembly operations using manual or automated equipment
Assemble components, kits, or instruments according to production instructions
Dispense, package, cap, and label products as required
Perform visual inspections and quality checks on finished products
Complete required documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
Maintain organized workstations and follow 5S practices
Monitor materials and inventory at production stations
Report production issues or abnormalities to supervisors
Follow safety, PPE, and GMP quality system requirements
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
0–3 years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience
Ability to read and follow written work instructions
Basic math, computer, and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and quality
Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment
Nice to have:
Experience with SAP or production machinery is a plus
