Job Responsibility

  • Support field operations by carrying out routine maintenance on oil and gas production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and assist with repairs to production equipment to help maintain safe and efficient operations
  • Help ensure production facilities operate in line with operational, environmental, and safety standards
  • Read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs to support field activities
  • Work independently in a field environment while coordinating effectively with operations and maintenance teams
  • Complete basic computer-based data entry and reporting tasks related to field operations
  • Travel between field locations as required by this position

Requirements

  • GED or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of production equipment and field operations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and P&IDs
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between field locations
  • 0-2 years of experience in oil and gas

  • Produce accurate and legible grossing notes with code description that provide the Pathologist with a clear understanding of the sections taken
  • Communicate with and respond to Pathologists, transcription, and Lab Coordinator email communications
  • Identify problems and special handling cases
  • Trim tissue for specific re-gross requests when requested in a timely manner
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance of various machines and equipment
  • Exercises judgment in evaluating and reporting results
  • Report any technical/QC problems to their lead tech or supervisor
