Job Responsibility

  • Oversee production planning and performance to meet customer requirements, including managing personnel, equipment, and KPIs like cost, quality, and delivery
  • Manage the annual budget with a view of exceeding the annual goal
  • Support and drive continuous improvement activities to optimise equipment and processes
  • Support cross-functional collaboration for new product introductions and ensure timely, high-quality customer deliveries
  • Manage team development, including recruitment, training, motivation, and supporting any HR matters
  • Ensure effective communication and compliance, covering company policies, health and safety, and standard work practices
  • Deputise for other team leaders and their production areas as required.

Requirements

  • Technical apprenticeship + HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Production Engineering
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Have experience in a high pressured production environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Passionate, driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
