The Production Team Lead is a high-impact, boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for driving daily output and maintaining operational excellence within a fast-paced, refrigerated food processing facility. Serving as the primary link between senior management and the front line, this role oversees a diverse team to ensure strict adherence to HACCP, SQF, and Halal integrity standards while hitting production targets.
Job Responsibility:
Leading the Floor: Directing workflow and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily processing quotas
Safety & Quality Guarding: Ensuring 100% compliance with HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards
Mentorship: Training new hires on equipment use, knife skills, and safety protocols
Documentation: Completing shift reports, yield tracking, and incident logs accurately
Process Improvement: Identifying bottlenecks and suggesting ways to increase line speed safely
Operational Leadership & Throughput: Lead toolbox talks, monitor line speed, act as first point of contact for issues
