Job Description

SP Industries Inc. is hiring and has an immediate opening for a Production Supervisor in Pocomoke City, MD. In this role, the right candidate will lead daily manufacturing operations at the Pocomoke facility. This role is responsible for ensuring safe operations, consistent product quality, and on-time delivery while building and leading a strong team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting production goals, solving problems, improving processes, and developing team members.

Job Responsibility

  • Promote a safe work environment and ensure all safety procedures are followed
  • Address safety concerns immediately and reinforce safe behaviors
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and resolve issues quickly
  • Oversee daily production activities and ensure schedules are met
  • Monitor output and respond to issues that impact delivery or efficiency
  • Work closely with planning, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to keep operations running smoothly
  • Identify and eliminate waste in processes to improve efficiency and reduce cost
  • Improve workflow and production flow to increase output and reduce delays
  • Lead problem-solving efforts to address recurring issues and improve performance
  • Support ongoing efforts to standardize work processes and improve consistency
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of operators and leads
  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance
  • Provide feedback, training, and development to strengthen team capability

Requirements

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience, including supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a production environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced setting
  • Comfortable working with production data and performance metrics
