Job Description

We are looking for a production supervisor to oversee a production floor. With this position the best person would be someone who is wanting to see growth within themselves and the company. Who has initiative and drive to make changes within the organization. This will be a hands on position with you learning the processes and positions to help assist in the launch of a new facility super close by.

Job Responsibility

  • Direct and coordinate daily operations across the production floor (fabrication, sheet metal, shear/brake operations, spot welding, and packaging)
  • Foster a positive workplace culture, drive high energy, and manage crew communications effectively within a unionized environment
  • Assist in scaling operations for the new facility, including identifying training needs and potentially coordinating structured training exchanges
  • Oversee flow scheduling, track KPIs, manage shipping/receiving, and coordinate parts ordering under the guidance of the Plant Manager
  • Maintain a hands-on presence on the floor, assisting with basic equipment troubleshooting and ensuring standard production practices are met
  • Drive a proactive safety culture, ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, and company regulations

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of management experience
  • Experience in managing production floors and hands on with systems
  • Comfortable working in a unionized environment
  • High initiative, drive, and a desire to learn and grow
  • Strong mechanical inclination, excellent conflict mitigation abilities, and solid organizational/logistical skills
