Production Supervisor

• Act as primary point of contact for the film and rewind production areas
• Coordinate activities across shifts to ensure high-quality products are manufactured efficiently and safely
• Assign duties based on employee strengths, identify skill gaps, and provide hands-on, on-the-job training
• Continuously improve production methods to maximize quality while minimizing labor hours and waste
• Act as subject matter expert for operators, solving production hurdles
• Act as champion for health and safety regulations, conducting daily inspections, safety talks, and ensuring all PPE and protocols are followed
• Manage shift schedules, vacation approvals, and accurate closing of work orders and production reports

• 3–5 years of solid leadership experience in a related manufacturing supervisory role (preferably with extrusions experience)
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Blown Film process and the ability to troubleshoot co-extrusion production
• Some post-secondary technical qualifications
• Proficient with spreadsheets and word processing software
• Solid basic math and measurement skills
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and BSCI standards is highly preferred
• Analytical problem-solving abilities
• Physical endurance for a manufacturing environment
• Flexibility to adapt to shift needs
