Job Description:

A premier automotive manufacturing company has an opportunity for you to advance your career as a Production Supervisor in Mississauga. This full-time, salaried-exempt role offers a competitive compensation package of $80,000 - $95,000 per year. You will oversee assembly operations, build and lead a dedicated team from the ground up, and drive continuous improvement. Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate daily manpower and resource allocation to ensure all assembly targets are met efficiently
  • Mentor staff and facilitate shift meetings to ensure seamless communication
  • Monitor equipment performance and production schedules to resolve any bottlenecks in the Mississauga facility
  • Maintain rigorous safety and quality standards by educating employees on plant protocols and conducting regular audits
  • Manage administrative duties, including accurate time-tracking, attendance reporting, and the documentation of quality metrics

Requirements:

  • Minimum of four years of leadership experience as a Production Supervisor or in a comparable management capacity
  • At least four years of specialized experience within the automotive/aerospace industry, specifically operating in a JIT environment
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Applied Science, Operations, or a related field of study
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing for procedure manuals and the application of foundational mathematics
  • Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds within a loud industrial setting
