Job Description:

You will play a key role in developing and empowering your team and ensuring the highest safety and quality standards and the efficiency of our production processes. You will manage your team's performance, providing guidance and development opportunities. This is a rewarding opportunity for you to be part of a dynamic production team dedicated to innovation and excellence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leading and developing a team - supervising and monitoring day-to-day operations and outputs according to plant policies and procedures while ensuring smooth production operation during shifts
  • Liaising with quality control to ensure products meet quality regulations and standards
  • Driving a continuous improvement mindset through development of team members and the usage of Lean tools to optimize KPI’s and change process
  • Carrying out the performance evaluation discussions with the team
  • Promoting daily meetings per shift, namely, communications on safety, productivity, quality, among other matters of important feedback to the working group
  • Fostering a motivated, engaged and inclusive working environment by recognizing, celebrating and rewarding your team for their achievements

Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering (e.g.: Mechanical, Industrial Management or Textile)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset with proven track
  • Knowledge of Lean tools
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Fluent Portuguese (min. C1) and good command of English (min. B2)
