Reporting to the Unit or Operations Manager, The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading, driving and managing multiple manufacturing teams responsible for compounding any aseptically compounded product supplying the UK and Ireland market. They will work within any grade A to D cleanroom and be fully conversant with the quality and working requirements of these areas and the equipment used within them, ensuring compliance with the manufacturing license and quality systems. They will drive manufacturing activities to ensure that they are aligned to the commercial business requirements by close collaboration with the associated teams of planning, production, engineering, quality and logistics. The Production Supervisor is responsible for reporting on daily production plan adherence and loss analysis, and other required Unit metrics. They must develop and lead a collaborative, diverse and inclusive environment for all staff and play an actively involved role in supporting Training completion, EHS activities and a culture of equipment optimisation and process Continuous Improvement. The Night Shift runs Sunday - Thursday between the hours of 10pm and 6am.
Job Responsibility:
Leading, driving and managing multiple manufacturing teams responsible for compounding any aseptically compounded product

Being a continuous visible presence in the manufacturing areas leading by example
Providing cover for the Unit / Operations manager when required
Monitoring, controlling, and adjusting manufacturing process as required to meet output requirements
Leading and inspiring a team of Team Leaders and Deputy Team Leaders
Effectively managing absence levels and annual leave
Developing, monitoring, and reporting on key performance indicators for unit
Having a working knowledge of equipment operation and optimising efficiency
Ensuring compliance with all GMP, Regulatory & Corporate requirements
Ensuring compliance to the UK Compounding EHS Management system
Responsible for maintaining, updating or creation of Unit SOP’s
Recruiting headcount to ensure effective execution of workload targets
Responsible for ensuring competence and development within team and maintaining personal level of CPD
Collaborate and share best practises to ensure timely completion of deviation and complaint investigations
Maintain and drive a program of opportunities to drive continuous improvement
Drive change control activities to timely completion
Requirements:
Proven experience in direct line-management
Proven experience in end-to-end manufacturing process organisation
Proven experience in lean, investigational, and optimising projects
Pharmaceutical, process, industrial, chemical manufacturing, or related industry experience
English minimum equivalent to RQF Grade 2, EQF Grade 3 or SCQF Grade 5
Degree in life science, engineering (pharmaceutical, process, industrial, chemical), or equivalent
