Production Supervisor

• Supervise daily operations in assigned area, ensuring production goals are met
• Conduct daily safety talks and enforce safety policies and procedures
• Set up and monitor press machines, ensuring proper function and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and support hydraulic and mechanical systems as needed
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to team members
• Coordinate with other departments including raw materials, packaging, shipping, and quality assurance
• Maintain workflow by monitoring control points, equipment, and resources
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support LEAN manufacturing practices
• Ensure compliance with company standards, union agreements, and quality expectations
• Document and report production data and equipment issues
• Foster a team-oriented, safety-first culture

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of press machine operations, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a union environment
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work second shift and flexible hours, including weekends if needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Technical background preferred
• 4-year degree is a plus

Experience with refractory or ceramic products is a bonus
