Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing production setting
  • Textile experience (particularly cut-and-sew operations) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure
  • General knowledge of fabrics
  • Sewing experience preferred
  • familiarity with industrial sewing machines
  • High accuracy with names, numbers, and spelling
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift continuously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Nice to have:

  • Textile experience (particularly cut-and-sew operations)
  • Sewing experience
  • familiarity with industrial sewing machines
