The Production Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for ensuring compliance with the production schedule by optimizing both human resources and equipment. This role ensures safety, product quality, operational efficiency, and timely delivery while addressing issues that arise during the shift. The Production Supervisor leads the production team, coordinates workflows, monitors equipment performance, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Job Responsibility:
Ensure compliance with the production schedule and established manufacturing timelines
Validate adherence to production and unloading flows during the shift
Prepare detailed reports on manufacturing and unloading times, identifying downtime and underlying root causes
Manage and resolve operational issues arising during the shift
Review and communicate work strategies and production plans with the team at the start of each shift
Lead and supervise production team activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
Monitor equipment usage and optimize resource allocation
Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the plant
Requirements:
Technical degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience as a supervisor in industrial or manufacturing environments
Intermediate English proficiency
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Knowledge of production planning principles and resource optimization
Legal authorization to work in Mexico
Nice to have:
50-hour SG-SST course (desirable)
Experience in safety and quality compliance
Strong leadership and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to motivate, guide, and manage teams effectively
