We are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our team in Manchester, TN.
Job Responsibility
Clearly and regularly communicates pertinent performance, work schedule, and activities to the work teams.
Facilitates 5S by assuring 5S maps and assignment sheets are current and by verifying conformance to the standard conditions.
Reports all accidents, injuries, and near misses to production manager, assures all documentation is completed and tracks countermeasures. Assures proper PPE is used per plant requirement.
Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
Computes amounts of stock and supplies required for operation, based on production schedules, and requisitions materials from storage area.
Maintains time and production records.
Initiates and/or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Directly supervises 20-25 hourly employees in the manufacturing operation. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company policies, the Code of Ethical Business Conduct, and applicable laws.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a college or university in any field
At least 2 years related manufacturing supervisory experience and/or training
or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in manufacturing operations.
Nice to have
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office skills, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (i.e., Charts & Graphs, Pivot Tables, V Look ups, etc.)
Ability to work overtime when workload requires it
Lean 5S knowledge and/or experience.
