Job Description:

The employer is a 90-year-old family-owned business in food production. The plant is based in Southern EU. The selected candidate reports directly to the Operations Manager. Management level working week is of 45-hrs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Running the Production Department on a day-to-day basis
  • Motivating and leading the Production Team to achieve desired quality and efficiency
  • Following the production cycle from preparation of raw materials to filling, packaging, and product storage
  • Ensuring proper documentation and company procedures are followed
  • Organizing daily meetings to update key team members
  • Co-ordinating and implementing changes or improvements decided by the company
  • Overseeing that company objectives and goals are achieved
  • Ensuring company policies and procedures including Product Safety, Management Systems and Health & Safety are followed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Good communication & decision-making skills
  • Diligent approach
  • Ability to lead effectively by example
  • Conversant in English
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office
