This individual will effectively lead and develop new and existing employees in the manufacturing area. They will be responsible for training employees and ensure compliance of all company policies/procedures with an emphasis on safety and product quality. They will assess individual and departmental performance and develop plans for change and/or improvement when needed. The supervisor will oversee daily operations of the assigned building/areas and make sure product and parts are completed in a timely manner to meet production goals.

Monitoring machine uptime and output

Ensuring work areas and outdoor areas are neat and orderly
Completing shortage reporting
Assist with assembly of product as needed
Time Approvals & Approve or deny employee requests for time off
Opening and locking building
Attend meetings as scheduled
Special projects as assigned
Overtime hours and some Saturdays may be required
Requirements:
High School diploma or G.E.D. required
Associate’s degree preferred
Forklift certification preferred
Strong communication skills
Product knowledge
Ability to read prints and shop orders
Self-starter
Strong leadership skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Confidentiality and professionalism required
Nice to have:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
