We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Production Supervisor – AI Trainer to join our customer’s team. In this unique opportunity, you will use your operational expertise in manufacturing or production environments to help train intelligent AI systems. Your real-world supervisory insights will guide the development of AI that supports factory operations, production workflows, and quality assurance. Job Responsibility:

  • Share subject matter expertise as an AI trainer, offering insight into real-life production floor supervision
  • Analyze and evaluate AI-generated content related to manufacturing operations, ensuring it reflects real-world best practices
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams to refine AI interactions focused on industrial workflows, shift supervision, and team coordination
  • Provide feedback on training content covering safety protocols, operational efficiency, and team communication in production settings
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of production trends, machine operation standards, and workplace safety guidelines
  • Participate in ongoing calibration and training sessions to improve AI model performance in the context of manufacturing and operations
  • Communicate in a clear, structured, and professional manner—both written and verbal—with a strong emphasis on accuracy and clarity

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, or similar leadership role in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Solid understanding of production processes, equipment operation, workforce management, and safety compliance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to critique and refine operational dialogues, safety instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Comfortable working remotely on a flexible, part-time schedule
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work across diverse functional teams

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a subject matter expert (SME) in AI training, language model evaluation, or digital workflow tools
