Job Description:

Our focus with this position is to assist the general manager and production supervisor

Job Responsibility:

  • Locate, move and assist with glass
  • Insure glass remakes are taken care of and prioritized
  • Ensure work area is clean and organized and free from obstructions
  • Read/measure glass accurately with tape measure
  • Check glass quality and be able to identify basic glass defects
  • Monitor production efficiencies and quality regularly during the shift and provide corrective action plans with employees while maintaining accurate communications to appropriate departments

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team as required
  • Must be able to lift 50 to 75lb. unassisted
  • Must be able to lift up to 150lb. with assistance
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Glass industry experience is preferred (not required)
