An exciting opportunity has arisen within one of JRL Group's key divisions; Trent Precast Concrete Ltd. The JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned, national construction group head quartered in North London. With a turnover of in excess of £850m, the business is currently experiencing growth and as such seeks to strengthen our Precast team. Trent Precast specialises in the manufacture and delivery of structural precast concrete units based in the heart of the country in Nottingham. Focusing on the manufacture of all kinds of precast components Trent Precast Concrete Ltd will surely have the capability and expertise to meet client’s needs. We are seeking a meticulous Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous analysis and adherence to quality assurance protocols.

Job Responsibility:

  • Reporting to Quality Manager and Factory Manager
  • Lead a quality team on the factory floor
  • Day to day duties checking concrete frames and precast components
  • Carrying out pre pour checks meeting planned workload and deadlines
  • Accurate recording of data on tablet based system
  • Reporting issues immediately with solutions

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering degree or similar construction subject
  • Focus driven individual capable of working to deadlines
  • Good communicator and able to work on own initiative
  • Precast Concrete manufacture experience essential and ability to read drawings
