Job Responsibility

  • Develop detailed production plans by analyzing sales trends, forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to prioritize and expedite production orders
  • Ensure the accuracy of MRP planning parameters and provide insights for Key Performance Metrics
  • Address supply chain issues such as capacity imbalances, material shortages, and supplier delays
  • Support procurement activities, including purchase order processing and inventory reconciliation
  • Convert master production schedules into actionable production plans
  • Monitor and update MRP parameters such as lot sizes, lead times, and inventory levels
  • Communicate supply performance challenges and drive resolutions
  • Assist with procurement and maintain accurate documentation for production activities
  • Provide data analysis for inventory risks, schedule compliance, and performance metrics

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of MPS/MRP planning experience
  • Hands-on experience in biological reagent manufacturing preferred
  • Experience in data analysis using Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with SAP MRP systems (SAP 6.0 in ECC/SCM preferred)
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A BS/BA in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Certification in APICS, CPIM, or CIRM preferred
  • Procurement knowledge and experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
