Job Description:

Detail-oriented professional with a passion for optimising production processes to join a leading organisation in the manufacturing and production industry. This role focuses on timely and cost-effective manufacturing of printed packaging and ensuring business efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders, stock levels, and machine capacity
Ensure production deadlines are met while optimising machine efficiency and minimising downtime
Monitor work-in-progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands
Collaborate closely with sales, procurement, and production teams to align scheduling with raw material availability and customer requirements
Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding production status and potential delays
Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste

Requirements:

4+ years in production planning based role
Strong understanding of production scheduling software ie. ERP/MRP systems
Excellent decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have:

Skills in the print/packaging industry
