We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Material Planner to join our team and drive excellence in material availability, production readiness, and supply chain optimization. In this role, you will oversee complex commodity planning activities, ensure alignment between supply and production requirements, and contribute to the efficiency, quality, and reliability for manufacturing.
Job Responsibility:
Creates, issues, and manages Manufacturing Orders to the production floor
Ensures timely material flow from inventory to the production floor using MRP/ERP Systems like Thruline and Cost Point
Interfaces with Procurement, Material Planners, and Supply Chain Managers to ensure parts are in inventory to support Program builds
Coordinates with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering to track shortages & issues
Works with Logistics and Material Handlers for accurate inventory tracking and manages return to stock transactions
Maintains schedule for various Programs with a focus on material control, shop floor coordination, and process improvement
Identify bottlenecks such as risks and shortages
Verifies material usage by cross-referencing the MO with Shop Floor Instructions to provide accurate part traceability
Requirements:
