Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our client's team in Brantford, ON. In this key role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, minimize downtime, and reduce costs. If you have a strong background in production planning, scheduling, and analysis, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement comprehensive production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets
Plan and coordinate workflows to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs
Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Create and manage detailed production plans, including material requirements, labor allocation, and equipment utilization
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks
Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or equipment issues
Provide regular updates to management on production status, scheduling, and potential disruptions

Requirements:

Degree in a related field (e.g., business, operations, or engineering)
Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role
Strong understanding of production processes, resource allocation, and scheduling principles
Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems (e.g., ERP, MRP)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
