Issuing finite daily and weekly production schedules while optimizing sequencing to reduce bottlenecks, setup times, and inefficiencies
Collaborating closely with Buyers and Material Planners to eliminate shortages, manage open POs, and proactively mitigate supply risks
Conducting capacity vs. load analysis to identify constraints early and proposing countermeasures such as overtime, subcontracting, or resequencing
Supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing insights on forecast accuracy, inventory projections, and capacity limitations
Maintaining planning master data (BOMs, routings, cycle times, lead times) in ERP systems to ensure accurate and reliable outputs
Driving continuous improvement through KPI monitoring (OTIF, schedule adherence, WIP turns, forecast accuracy) and applying Lean tools to stabilize and enhance planning processes
