Job Description

A fast-growing company in the medical device industry is seeking a Production Planner & Buyer for its modernized facility in Pointe-Claire. This autonomous role combines production scheduling (60%) and operational purchasing (40%) within a warm, collaborative team culture that offers both a small-business feel and the financial backing of a large corporate group.

Job Responsibility

  • Establish the production scheduling calendar over a 3-month horizon and issue daily work orders
  • Order and track raw materials, packaging components, and bulk solutions to prevent any inventory stockouts
  • Ensure the accuracy of regular physical counts and optimize inventory parameters within the system
  • Act as the central pivot between production (capacity management) and the Quality department (lot release prioritization)
  • Participate in configuring and optimizing the newly implemented ERP system

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of combined experience in manufacturing production planning and industrial purchasing
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel (V-Lookups, pivot tables) and experience using an integrated ERP system (such as SAGE or SAP)
  • Bachelor's degree required

Nice to have

APICS certification or experience in a regulated sector like medical, pharma, or food
