We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Production Operator to join our 24/7 food manufacturing facility. This role is essential to our daily operations, covering everything from ingredient scaling and machine operation to quality control and process troubleshooting.
Job Responsibility:
Machine Operation: Operate and monitor major equipment (depositors, baggers, palletizers, and labelers)
perform routine adjustments and troubleshooting to ensure peak efficiency
Ingredient Processing: Accurately scale and prepare ingredients according to formulas
maintain the integrity of ingredient bins to prevent contamination
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular weight checks and visual inspections to ensure all products meet SKU specifications and food safety standards (GMPs)
Data Management: Accurately input production data and downtime logs into SAP and MII systems
Relief Support: Provide coverage for various stations, including packaging, boxing, and mixing, to ensure continuous workflow during breaks and shift changes
Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a pristine workspace
strictly adhere to Health & Safety protocols and use all required PPE
Requirements:
Reliable Transportation: Must have a personal vehicle for commuting
Adaptability: Must be able to work the weekly rotating 12-hour day/night schedule and be available for overtime
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a environment ranging from 58°F to 80°F
Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills for documentation and team coordination
Technical Aptitude: Basic computer skills (SAP/MII experience is a plus) and a mechanical mindset for minor equipment adjustments
