Job Description:

As a Production Operator in the Machine shop, you have the opportunity to set up, monitor, and maintain machines and equipment used on production lines. You may be responsible for feeding metal parts into machines, operating machines, making minor repairs, replacing parts, and testing finished materials for compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Feeds metal parts into various metalworking machines
  • Loads product onto machine, inspects for defects
  • Assembles various components per specifications
  • Services machines according to maintenance schedule
  • Loads and off bears product to and from conveyor
  • Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner

Requirements:

  • Requires standing up to 10 hours per day
  • Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day
  • Constant awareness of surroundings
  • Requires ability of pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs)
