Requirements

5–8+ years in Product Operations, Product Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Product Management, or related roles
Proven experience building or scaling a product analytics ecosystem
Track record of translating complex data into actionable recommendations for product and business leaders
Experience working in SaaS or platform products is strongly preferred
Strong command of SQL and proficiency with modern BI/analytics tools (Looker preferred)
Deep understanding of data modeling, event analytics, KPIs, and instrumentation
Excellent communicator who can simplify complex information and influence without authority
Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of driving cross-functional alignment
Strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the big picture while also diving into the details

Job Responsibility

Conduct proactive, deep-dive analyses to uncover customer behavior trends, product usage patterns, friction points, and revenue-impact opportunities
Deliver strategic insights that inform prioritization, roadmap decisions, and OKRs
Build frameworks and reporting that show how product outcomes connect to business outcomes (retention, revenue, unit economics, customer satisfaction, etc.)
Translate data into compelling narratives for executive reviews, board decks, and product planning cycles
Develop easy-to-use dashboards, templates, and toolkits that empower PMs and cross-functional teams to self-serve insights
Train stakeholders on how to interpret and leverage product data to make better decisions
Standardize reporting practices across product teams, ensuring consistency and clarity
Own and evolve the product analytics stack (e.g., Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Snowflake) to ensure metrics are reliable, accessible, and aligned with business goals
Partner with Engineering and Data teams to define and maintain event tracking, taxonomy standards, and data governance practices across the product
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support strategic product decisions

5+ years professional experience in digital product operations, or similar operational experience working closely with a technical team on a digital product
Passionate about the problem Pomelo is trying to tackle
Scrappy and able to build operational processes from 0, but also have the vision to know how to scale them when needed
Comfortable scoping and tackling ambiguous problems
Comfortable learning about and working across different technical systems
Willing to roll up your sleeves and tackle any operational challenges, no matter how big or small
Excited to work cross-functionally across technical and non-technical stakeholders, including folks who do not have as much product knowledge or expertise as yourself
A strong communicator who can quickly understand the needs of different audiences and adapt communication appropriately
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: SQL experience is preferred, but at a minimum you’re comfortable working with spreadsheets and pivot tables.

Job Responsibility

Become an expert in all of Pomelo’s products, and help define business processes that surround them
Serve as a thought and execution partner to our technical functions including engineering, product, design, and data science
Collaborate with our clinical, clinical operations, market operations, and other teams to understand their operational needs and help improve their processes with product or technical support. This may include providing product education or documentation when needed
Execute and continuously improve processes leading up to feature launch to ensure a successful launch, as well as provide ongoing support of our product and patients
