As a Production Associate - Food Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing & logistics process, ensuring that recipe specifications are met with precision and quality.
Job Responsibility:
Enter recipe data accurately according to the established production schedule
Adjust pre-refiner and refiner settings according to specific recipes and customer requirements
Monitor and adjust conch temperatures while overseeing the active production process
Add fats, flavors, and emulsifiers to conchs or tanks in strict accordance with recipes
Pump finished product from conches to storage tanks following the production schedule
Perform accurate SAP and manual data entries for production tracking
Operate PLC-controlled machinery to maintain consistent output
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet high standards
Perform basic and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
Report equipment improvements or issues to the Shift Lead or Maintenance team
Handle all line worker material handling functions as required
Communicate vital production information to incoming attendants to ensure smooth transitions
Collaborate regularly with crew members, Lead Hands, and Shift Leads
Track inventory, clean magnets, and document Critical Control Points (CCP)
Conduct fineness checks as prescribed by quality protocols
Maintain the cleanliness of the production room and adhere to the Sanitation Schedule
Perform and document all HACCP, Quality, and Safety checks
Execute other duties as assigned to support the manufacturing & logistics team
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing, processing, or industrial production
Prior experience with SAP or ERP software
Mechanical or technical background
Ability to work a continental shift
Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and HACCP-compliant workspace
Proficiency in operating PLC-controlled equipment
Strong technical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Precision in data entry
Ability to follow complex recipes and technical specifications
Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and quality control protocols
Problem-solving skills
Physical stamina
What we offer:
Competitive starting rate of $30.00 per hour
Shift premium of $1.00 per hour for those working the night shift
Continental shift schedule (no rotation)
Overtime pay (1.5x) applicable after 44 hours worked in a week
3 weeks of paid vacation (pro-rated based on start date) after one year
3 Paid Time Off (PTO) days available after the probationary period
