Job Description:

Argenta is currently looking to fill the role of Production Operator - Weekend Days at our Fort Dodge, IA location.

Job Responsibility:

  • Operating assembly, packing, and labelling equipment, performing in-process checks to ensure products are manufactured to a high quality
  • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping and cleanliness within the production area
  • Ensuring all equipment used is cleaned, calibrated, and lubricated between batches
  • Production batch documentation is completed accurately and in compliance to cGMP standards

Requirements:

  • Past production and/or manufacturing experience within a GMP facility
  • Ability to work weekend day shifts reliably & dependably
  • Have a good understanding of Health & Safety practices and a commitment to safety
  • At least 3 years manufacturing experience in pharmaceutical / animal health, food or related industry is preferred
  • Great communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Undertake process checks and samples throughout the production process
  • Ensure that all activities are undertaken in accordance with Health and Safety procedure and where required ensuring that the appropriate PPE is worn
  • Ensuring that work areas are kept tidy and free of debris
  • This involves sweeping and bagging of grain
  • Manual handling of waste product, shovelling and sweeping
  • Use of hoses and water under pressure for cleaning
