Job Responsibility:
The assembly/welding of parts in accordance with the process, achieving building requirements (parts per hour/shift), ensuring our customers requirements are met on-time-in-full
operate machinery, which may include welders, spin riveters, screwdrivers and other machinery as instructed
pack assemblies/parts to the defined quantity and standards
maintain 5s/housekeeping standards holding yourself and team members accountable
carry out quality and safety checks as required
complete all required documentation to ensure accurate traceability of parts
Requirements:
4 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 or above including maths and english
qualifications in Engineering or Performing Manufacturing Operations would be advantageous
experience or demonstrable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
excellent attendance
ability to complete work of a repetitive nature
ability to work with detailed work instructions
ability to meet demanding targets
operate with a Right-First-Time (RFT) approach
ability to contribute to solving problems
work with safety in mind
team player with ability to influence other team members
Nice to have:
qualifications in Engineering or Performing Manufacturing Operations
experience or demonstrable knowledge of Lean Manufacturing processes
