Job Description

The Level 4 Production Operators are a vital piece of the Processing, Ingredient Prep/Receiving, Packaging/Sanitation and Distribution Departments of the Nestle Purina Crete Factory. The Level 4 Production Operators will meet all Safety, Health, Quality and Environmental requirements when performing job duties.

Job Responsibility

  • Cover and backup operators in Processing, Ingredient Prep & Receiving and Packing departments
  • Operate a forklift loading and unloading trailers to the warehouse
  • Perform visual inspections of cans, monitor temperature of incoming and outgoing cans
  • Perform all Process, Ingredient Prep and Packaging Line Set Up
  • Record and keep records for good manufacturing practices
  • Comply with all Nestlé and plant-specific policies
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 6+ months experience working in a production capacity such as manufacturing, agriculture, warehouse, industrial, military or related environment
  • Willingness to learn how to operate a forklift and obtain necessary certification
