In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team of skilled operators, reporting directly to the day shift supervisor. You will be responsible for loading and unloading machines in a safe and timely manner, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Loading and unloading specialized machinery used in the production of building materials
  • Performing heavy lifting of materials up to 50lbs consistently throughout the shift
  • Ensuring all production tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet daily quotas
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in accordance with manufacturing and logistics safety protocols
  • Collaborating with the team of operators and the day shift supervisor to optimize workflow
  • Monitoring machine performance and reporting any irregularities to the maintenance team
  • Adhering to all quality control standards to ensure the final product meets client specifications
  • Participating in regular safety meetings and training sessions provided by the company

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a Production Operator role is mandatory
  • Experience working specifically in a manufacturing and logistics or factory environment
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 50lbs regularly throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation is required to ensure consistent attendance in Paris, Ontario
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours of 7 am to 3 pm reliably
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace policies
  • Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
