In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team of skilled operators, reporting directly to the day shift supervisor. You will be responsible for loading and unloading machines in a safe and timely manner, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Job Responsibility:
Loading and unloading specialized machinery used in the production of building materials
Performing heavy lifting of materials up to 50lbs consistently throughout the shift
Ensuring all production tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet daily quotas
Maintaining a clean and safe workspace in accordance with manufacturing and logistics safety protocols
Collaborating with the team of operators and the day shift supervisor to optimize workflow
Monitoring machine performance and reporting any irregularities to the maintenance team
Adhering to all quality control standards to ensure the final product meets client specifications
Participating in regular safety meetings and training sessions provided by the company
Requirements:
Prior experience in a Production Operator role is mandatory
Experience working specifically in a manufacturing and logistics or factory environment
Must be physically capable of lifting 50lbs regularly throughout the day
Reliable transportation is required to ensure consistent attendance in Paris, Ontario
Ability to work the scheduled hours of 7 am to 3 pm reliably
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace policies
Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
